THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT PHILADELPHIA ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT!
Race 6 Philadelphia 8.10 Mia Bella Rossa (10/11)
Talented mare who reeled off a fourth win in a row in a better race than this at Aqueduct last month; won 5 of her last 6 now; hard to oppose given she always seems to find more; clearly the one to beat.
We head to Phily for our best bet Stateside tonight and winning machine MIA BELLA ROSSA can go in again. She was mightily impressive at this level on penultimate start winning head in chest and up in grade at Aqueduct last time she proved up to the task finding plenty in the closing stages. She has an attitude to die for and given she has won 5 of her last 6 it’s hard to find any chinks in her armour. Shero won 4 of her first 6 but found Squan’s Kingdom too strong last time and isn’t certain to reverse that form. Still one of the dangers. The latter is more exposed but does come here in form. Strictly on recent efforts though she is held by the favourite so needs to find more from somewhere.

Race 2 Tampa Bay Downs 5.44 Princess Livia (1/1)
Likeable mare who was back in form winning over 6f here in December and backed that up winning impressively over the same track and trip last time slamming a good yardstick in second; thriving right now and hat-trick beckons.
Mulberry is a good horse so the fact PRINCESS LIVIA beat her 6 and a half lengths last time is quite a statement. She inevitably steps up in grade now for her hat-trick bid but it would take a brave man to oppose in current form and she has plenty going for her again. Italian Justice showed a good attitude to prevail by a head last time but that was on the turf here so she needs to back that up back on dirt now. Looks one of the threats to the selections though. Baci impressed on penultimate start and if she returns to that level of form she will give the favourite a race. U Know I B Lion needs to do better on what we’ve seen recently. Moon Me Again also needs more to play a hand.
