THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS ON THE FLAT AT HAMILTON ON WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON!
Hamilton 3.40 Celtic Empress (6/4)
Golden Horn filly who took a big step forward going down just a head on handicap debut at Redcar last time having been slowly away; open to further improvement and racing off the same mark looks well placed to score.
With another step forward CELTIC EMPRESS should open her account. She was slowly away so had a lot of ground to make up but ran on really well in the closing stages and that effort can be marked up. She is still improving so looks poised to make the breakthrough now. Soller Bay was three quarters of a length behind the selection last time and looks the one most likely to finish second. Susie Javea has won 4 of her last 6 and also has to enter calculations but I think the selection will improve past her. Beechwood Emily is consistent but might struggle against these. Quite a few of these come here with questions to answer so it makes the selection a very strong play.

Wolverhampton 7.20 Astrogem (2/1)
Progressive filly who took a big step forward on debut for this yard winning readily at Doncaster last month; backed that up at Yarmouth last time staying on strongly; hat-trick beckons despite the penalty.
A 5lb penalty shouldn’t be enough to anchor the progressive ASTROGEM here. This Equiano filly has really impressed winning her last two and if she improves again she should have too much for this field. She hit the line notably strong last time and under similar tactics I think she’ll gallop these into submission. White Lady has shown promise after just 3 starts and there should be more to come now so she is one of the likely dangers. At a bigger price Mummy Bear could also get involved if bouncing back but she did disappoint when only fourth last time. Everything weighed up it looks a good chance for the favourite to bring up the hat-trick.

The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Hamilton and Wolverhampton on Wednesday.
