THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) LANDED OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT HAWKESBURY!
Race 6 Hawkesbury 6.50 Tags (5/2)
Promising type who has won 3 of his 4 starts to date; slowly away on return but stayed on well to get up close home; 1-1 over this trip and will be winding up strongly in the closing stages so gets the vote to win again.
The Aussie NAP was back in the winners enclosure overnight and we head to Hawkesbury on Tuesday as we bid to follow up. TAGS is clearly progressive as he has won 3 of his first 4 starts and has potential to keep improving. He should strip fitter for that comeback run and back up in trip looks a good move so plenty going for him again. Command King has won 2 of his 4 starts and has never been out the placings. He looks the one most likely to give the selection a race. Lake Tai has some solid form in the book and is also entitled to have some sort of a say. Just lacks the potential of the favourite. Lord Zoulander best of the rest but he is much more exposed in comparison and will need to give his best.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT PAKENHAM PARK!
Race 3 Pakenham Park 5.00 Gorgonado (11/4)
Likeable filly who who shown plenty of promise in 3 runs to date; very much still learning her trade as she showed when runner-up over 1600m here last time; should be more streetwise now and step back in trip should suit.
We head to Pakenham Park overnight for our second best bet Down Under and GORGONADO can make the breakthrough. She has been gradually improving and ran well last time given she was slowly away and overraced in the straight. With that added experience on side she can get herself in the winners enclosure now. Covent Garden is favourite but I think she’s being a bit overbet here. She finished last when we last saw her run in February and while she has been given time since she has enough to prove for me at present and I’d rather take a filly with race-fitness on side. Miss Keeler showed promise when fourth on debut and also has to enter the reckoning.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Pakenham Park and Hawkesbury in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
