THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 2 AT ARLINGTON ON SATURDAY NIGHT!

Race 2 Arlington 9.02 Richiesgotgame (4/5)

Promising colt who was back to winning ways over the extended mile here on a synthetic surface last month; overall profile is progressive and already won on turf so if he is in the same form he should have too much for these.

Some really good racing Stateside tonight and we head to Arlington for our strongest bet of the evening. RICHIESGOTGAME is expected to be a cut above this field. He has already won 4 races (from just 8 starts) and he looks to be improving all the time. Back on turf now he should take another step forward and with Frontier Charlie expected to give him a nice toe into the race he should prove too strong up the straight. Bryce Canyon looked good winning 3 starts back but has been beaten twice since and nothing went right last time. If he bounces back he could be the danger to the favourite. Clarestown wasn’t beaten far last time just a bit too keen so if he settles better he could also have a say.

Race 5 Churchill Downs 7.45 Letruska (5/6)

Smart mare who has won 14 from 19 overall and impressed at Belmont last time in top company, showing a good attitude under pressure; this easier being a Grade 2 and she should take all the beating again.

The prolific LETRUSKA can strike again in the Fleur De Lis Stakes at Churchill Downs tonight. She is clearly in great form having landed back-to-back Grade 1s in her last two starts and given this is a Grade 2 she should find it easier if anything. I’m expecting her to push forward and burn these off comfortably. Envoutante is the closest in the betting and this filly did win head in chest last time but this requires a big step up on that and she previously fell short in this company. She was also a couple of places behind the selection at Oaklawn Park so has enough to find on recent form for me. She can improve but I can’t see the form being reversed. Spice Is Nice looks to be best of the rest on a hat-trick.
