THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT PIMLICO TONIGHT!

Race 7 Pimlico 8.46 Rather Nosy (1/1)

Knuckled down gamely in real likeable fashion to defy big odds at Santa Anita last time, finding more when called upon; this easier so big chance of bringing up the hat-trick; should get the lead and will be hard to pass.

Despite being headed RATHER NOSY came again on the turn for home at Santa Anita last time and she showed a great attitude to get on top in the closing stages. She is chasing a hat-trick now and the drop in grade coupled with the step back to 6f looks sure to suit so she is hard to pick holes in. Gifted Heart won 3 starts back and was a good second on penultimate run but let herself down a bit on turf last time. If she can bounce back from that rare blip she will give the favourite a race but there are enough questions to answer at present. Virginia Beach was a place behind the latter when they met in May but has since won at Delaware Park so could emerge as a greater danger.

Race 8 Belmont Park 9.41 Kokopelli (9/4)

Progressive filly who made a bright start winning on debut at Aqueduct and improved again on return to win convincingly over 6f here last time; scope to progress further and looks well placed to make it a perfect 3-3.

With four of these scheduled for the main track this race will cut up come post time so KOKOPELLI will be a lot shorter than the 9/4 on offer right now. This filly is unbeaten and looks to be improving fast so I think she’s a great bet to take this out. She did it with plenty to spare last time and a repeat would see her hard to beat given this isn’t much tougher. Silky Blue was knocking on the door prior to running a bit flat last time so will need to better than to have a say. Screamin’ By has been a model of consistency so it wouldn’t surprise me if she was the main danger to the selection. Mischievous Dream won 2 of her first 3 but hasn’t quite gone on since then so needs to find more to figure.
