Race 5 Finger Lakes 8.06 Stabilize (4/5)

Broke sharply got on the speed and was always dictating winning easily over track and trip last time; early speed will get these in trouble and plenty going for her as she looks to make it three straight tonight; hard to oppose.

The run of NAP winners came to an end last night sadly but we remain in great form as we head to Finger Lakes to get back on track tonight. STABILIZE is chasing a hat-trick and she impressed again last time showing them all a clean pair of heels. This C&D suits her well and she has plenty going for her. Hopefully she’ll get away quickly again and dominate. Queen Bess is also chasing a hat-trick but only prevailed by a neck last time. If she can find further improvement she’ll pose some sort of an issue to the fav but otherwise she is going to need more I think. Eye’s On You won gamely over track and trip last time and is another who shouldn’t be entirely ruled out.

Race 7 Fort Erie 11.48 Storm Risk (11/8)

Made it three in a row winning at Mahoning Valley in March and held his form well in defeat since; good second over track and trip last month; looks well placed to get himself back in the winners enclosure; worth chancing.

I thought STORM RISK was a big eye-catcher over C&D last time and if he builds on that again he will have too much for these rivals. There’s a fair bit of pace on so he should get a nice toe in before looking to prove the stronger close home. Tweet Kitten will be one of those that pushes forward. He won well last time but isn’t getting any younger and is going to need more to back that up especially if he faces competition for the lead. Auntie Katherine won on penultimate start but blew out in graded company last time so has a bit to prove off the back of that effort. Makes her reappearance here so is considered if fit enough to do herself justice. Hard to see anything else landing a blow.
