Likeable type who is gradually getting the hang of things and was only denied a head last time at Werribee; poised to go one better now and blinkers can bring about further improvement; should take the beating.

We head to Ballarat overnight for our best bet Down Under on Sunday and ATOMIC ROCK can make the breakthrough. Everything about his profile suggests he is working up to a win and he won’t need to improve much to open his account here. He was denied just a head last time and that was a big run. Prior to that he had excuses as was slowly away and had a lot of ground to make up. If things go to plan here he will prove too good for these. Parisian Dancer is a nice filly who is going the right way and following her second at Donald she looks the main danger to the favourite but she will need to improve again. Hard to see anything else landing a blow in a race that lacks strength in depth.

Progressive sort who comes here chasing a hat-trick having looked firmly on the upgrade when last seen in November winning back-to-back races at this track; given time since and proven fresh so sure to go close.

I’m expecting TOTALLY CHARMED to be tough to beat at Sunshine Coast on Sunday morning. He won his last two races when last seen in November and with more to come and given he is proven fresh there is lots to like here. He is already quite short in the betting but I can see him going off odds-on to be honest as he will be a cut above these if he picks up where he left off. Just Orm has ability but will need to produce his best to trouble the selection. He is exposed in comparison and just isn’t running well enough to spring an upset. I’ve Gotta Nel has also been around a while and I know on his best form he’d be very dangerous but it’s unlikely he’ll be able to dictate here so he is passed over.
