Race 8 Arlington Park 12.08 Get Hammered (13/8)

Likeable type who went up through the gears to win impressively over track and trip last month, drawing clear in the closing stages doing it easily; lightly raced on this surface so open to further improvement; will look to boss them again.

The US NAP won again last night and we are now chasing SEVEN IN A ROW! If you remember our incredible run just over a year ago where we landed fourteen winners in a row hopefully we can keep this run going to get somewhere near that. The double also went in last night so we’re in great form right now! We head over to Arlington Park tonight and GET HAMMERED should take a lot of beating. He won impressively over C&D last time and he is a very talented horse when he gets his own way up front. There is a lack of speed on here and if he can dictate I don’t think he’ll come back to them judging by the fractions he’s able to set. Frontana looks the obvious threat to the favourite.

Promising sort who looked to need the experience on debut but quickly improved to win at Belmont and then only denied a neck in a good race up in trip last time; drop back to 7f ideal and with more to come he is sure to go close.

The US NB also landed last night and we head to Saratoga for our second best bet on Friday night. JOEY LOOSE LIPS has impressed in just 3 starts to date and with more to come I think he can make it 2 wins from 4 starts. He was denied just a neck in a much stronger race than this last time and if he matches that form here you would think he will come out on top. It will be interesting to see who leads as he will be up with the pace and it wouldn’t massively surprise me if he did push forward and look to burn them off. Well Done West is the danger as he also showed plenty of promise last season with form figures of 3132 and he is proven at a better level than this. Should be a good race!
