Race 4 Townsville 6.05 Molongle Surprise (4/5)
Exciting prospect who has won 4 of his 6 starts to date and comes here chasing a hat-trick after swooping from off the pace again to win easily over track and trip last month; improving all the time and looks hard to hold out.
The Aussie NAP won again overnight so we head into Thursday chasing 6 IN A ROW! Attention turns to Townsville and the progressive MOLONGLE SURPRISE can win again. He is chasing a C&D hat-trick and really thundered home to win convincingly again last time. He continues to attract strong support and so far is rewarding punters. He will be hitting peak fitness now and is hard to get away from. The good looking Go Deep looks the main danger to the favourite but will need to better than fourth at Ipswich last month to pose a threat. Lifetime Quest is exposed in comparison to the fav but could also have a say if managing to control the race from the front. Would need to get the fractions spot on.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 5 AT MUSWELLBROOK OVERNIGHT!
Race 5 Muswellbrook 6.55 Terrameades (1/1)
Progressive filly who left her debut run well behind winning impressively at Port Macquarie last time; showed a smart turn of foot to pick them up from off the pace and with more to come can follow up; one to keep safe.
It’s hard to look past TERRAMEADES here with Gibbons in the saddle again. This filly powered home to make the breakthrough at Port Macquarie last month and she is only going to benefit from that outing. She could be a cut above these as she bids to follow up before going on to better things. Freedom Square made a winning start at Scone and backed that up with a solid second last time bumping into a good one and looks the threat. It looks between the front pair as it’s 8/1 bar the rest. At a bigger price Hammoon Jig does have potential after just 9 starts and might be the value to run into a place in the closing stages. Ask That Sass is also fairly lightly raced but does need to find more.
