Useful type who landed a pair of juvenile hurdle wins for this yard last autumn and remains unexposed stepping up to this trip now; can improve again and if he does he should have too much for these.
It was a tough day for punters yesterday with the two hotpots Hukum and Starman both being turned over. Hopefully we can get back on track on Sunday and we head over Jumps for our best bet. ORCHESTRAL RAIN wasn’t at his best when only fifth at Huntingdon when last seen but given time since and stepping up in trip now I expect him to take a big step forward. He is a likeable type who promises to do better. Guido Reni hasn’t won for a while but if he brought his best form he would be the main danger. I can see him running well but perhaps always playing second-fiddle. Dalileo needs to better what we’ve seen lately to have any sort of a say and similar comments apply to Legal Beagle.

THE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS ON THE FLAT AT YORK ON SUNDAY!
York 3.45 Mistrix (13/8)
Improving filly who missed by just a short head on debut and then went down a neck at Salisbury last time, running on well but just failing to get up; scope to progress again and if she does she will be a danger to all here.
Hard to look past MISTRIX here for George Scott. This filly is a bit unlucky not to have a win next to her name given how close she has gone on both starts to date. With further improvement on the cards she can get her head in front here. Boondoggle will put good pace to the race and that will give her a target to run down. I think Flash The Dash is probably the main danger to the favourite as she improved to win at Newcastle. While this is tougher switching to turf she can do better and she’ll be more of a threat if they go hard early. Just Wonder is bred to be pretty useful but inexperience cost him on debut so he is going to need to leave that well behind to get involved here.
