THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 10 AT PHILADELPHIA ON MONDAY NIGHT!

Race 10 Philadelphia 10.14 Chub Wagon (10/11)

Big strong filly who won her first 8 races in a row looking very exciting; nailed late by a nice horse over 6f here last month, sticking to the task gamely to the line; more to come yet and looks one to keep firmly on side.

I really like CHUB WAGON and even though she was beaten last time I still think there is more to come yet. She was grabbed late by Don’t Call Me Mary who is a nice filly herself so I don’t think there was any disgrace in that with the pair nicely clear and the field well strung out in behind. She had previously won her last 8 in a row and I think she can resume her progression tonight in what looks a winnable field. Regal Retort prevailed by a neck in a valuable event last time but I’ll be surprised if she is good enough to peg back this favourite. Pacific Gale finished tired in a Grade 2 last time and this is easier but she lacks the potential of the selection so is passed over as well.

Exciting colt who created a big impression striding clear to win by 6 lengths on debut; quickly pitched into Graded company last time and made no mistake winning head in chest by 8 lengths; could be anything at this stage.

It’s quite an exciting night Stateside for a Monday with some very nice horses on show. WIT is another one and this colt looks to be going places fast. He has readily brushed aside all opposition he has faced so far winning both starts by a combined 14 lengths and while this is another step up into Grade 1 company now you’d be foolish to rule out further progression as he bids to land the hat-trick. He’ll look to get nicely settled early before picking them off one by one close home. High Oak is also a colt with considerable potential and he looks the main danger with the same perfect record 2-2. Defend also bolted up on debut and looks to be best of the rest. Very good race.
