THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT GULFSTREAM ON FRIDAY NIGHT!

Race 4 Gulfstream 8.38 Don’t Get Khozy (1/1)

Useful filly who has back to somewhere near her best swooping late to win over a mile here in July; won 2 of her last 4 now and doesn’t lack speed so drop back to 7f won’t inconvenience her; this easier if anything so hard to oppose.

The US NAP just got going too late last time but did run on well for second. Hopefully we can go one better on Friday night as we head to Gulfstream for our best bet. DON’T GET KHOZY is a talented filly and she impressed last time showing a good attitude to get there late. She has won over this trip before so the drop back a furlong in distance shouldn’t inconvenience. Hopefully they go a good clip as she will like a solid pace to come off. As long as she doesn’t get too far back I think she’ll be finishing best of all. In terms of a danger Witch Hunter had won 2 of her last 3 before going down just a length last time. She is also pretty useful so should give the favourite something to think about.

Race 7 Los Alamitos 11.58 Silver Claim (11/8)

Promising sort who has won 5 in a row since second on debut and really impressed on turf last time, drawing clear with plenty in hand; won both starts on dirt so surface won’t inconvenience and should take all the beating.

The US NB landed last night so hopefully we can make it a quick fire double on Friday night. We head over to Los Alamitos where SILVER CLAIM can make it 6 in a row! He is lightly raced for his age but just keeps getting better and that was impressive last time bolting up by 4 lengths. He will go hard off the front and I don’t see him coming back to them here. Joe Don Looney was back in the winners enclosure last time prevailing by half a length and if he can build on that he could be the danger to the favourite. Tribal War Chant had an awkward trip last time so if getting a better run through could also figure at some point but does need more for win purposes. Hard to fancy any of the rest.
