THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT THISTLEDOWN ON MONDAY NIGHT!

Race 7 Thistledown 8.50 Strike Appeal (4/5)

Impressed with how he shook clear to win readily over track and trip last month and now won 5 of his last 7 starts; this doesn’t look any tougher so he is expected to be finishing best of all again; one to keep on side.

The US NAP was disappointing last night but we had landed it two nights on the trot prior to that so hopefully we can get back on track this evening. We head to Thistledown where the thriving STRIKE APPEAL should be hard to beat. He has won 3 of his last 4 now and 5 of his last 7 so is building a nice profile. This doesn’t look any tougher so he is expected to be finishing strongly again to pick them up close home. Flatter Me Please and Statesboro are likely to take each other on early and that would be an ideal scenario. Obiwan could be the danger as he got his head back in front last time and showed a good attitude under pressure so should mount some sort of a challenge at the finish.

Likeable type who thrashed the opposition over C&D when last seen, coming clear to win by nearly 20 lengths at the line; aggressive tactics may well be adopted again and if they are he is going to take a lot of catching.

Based on that last performance DANCERS FOR TOKEN is going to be hard to beat at Finger Lakes tonight. He won very much head in chest and was always on top dominating. I think this is a bit more competitive even though it is technically the same level but these rivals looks slightly better. He could still go forward and dictate. If he repeats that last performance it’s going to take a good one to go past. Beach Front finished in front of America’s Justice when second to Sneads last time and is probably the main danger on recent form. Jacoba impressed on penultimate start but was a bit flat behind Beach Front last time. If he bounces back he could have a chance too so not one to write off.
