THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT FINGER LAKES TONIGHT!

Race 4 Finger Lakes 7.37 Lune Lake (10/11)

Smart mare who is very classy when she gets on the lead and dominates like she has done the last twice; won 3 of her last 4 and this easier if anything so hard to oppose; will look to make all and gallop them into the ground.

I’ve been a fan of LUNE LAKE for a while now and as long as she gets a clean break and hits the speed I don’t think she’ll be caught here. She is fast and when dictating she is a very class animal. She can go up through the gears and get these off the bridle one by one. Saloon Girl won easily over track and trip last time but that was a much weaker race than this so she is going to need to better that to lay a glove on this favourite. Heartbustingirl hung under pressure last time and is hard to recommend on that form but her previous wins over My Girl Annie read well so she has a squeak if returning to that. My Girl Annie impressed on penultimate start but was thrashed last time. Enough to prove.

Race 4 Fort Erie 7.29 Forest Survivor (10/11)

Progressive colt who improved switching to turf to win over 5f at Woodbine in July and then backed that up in a good race last month; makes his dirt debut now and open to further progression so big chance of the hat-trick.

There’s lots to like about the chances of FOREST SURVIVOR at Fort Erie tonight. This colt is improving fast judging by that last win and if he handles the switch to dirt now he will have too much for these. He will face a bit of pace pressure from both All Canadian and Glitter Mountain but he holds both on the clock and had the former back in fifth last time beaten nearly 7 lengths. Red River Rebel actually beat the selection on his second start but hasn’t won since and Forest Survivor has done nothing but improve so I’m confident that form will be readily reversed here. Blind Trust is going the right way and may well be value to snatch a place if he returns to the form of that penultimate victory.
