Race 8 Rosehill Gardens 7.05 Anamoe (1/1)

Smart colt who looks progressive now; returned from 5 months off the track to score by a neck at Kembla Grange earlier this month; won second-up previously and getting better all the time so looks the one they all have to beat.

This is a good race but ANAMOE has the potential to be very smart. He was too good for them in the Run To The Rose at Kembla Grange and is sure to improve from that second-up. The draw isn’t ideal but if McDonald negotiates that he should be in a position to strike late. He is a classy sort who should prove too good for these. Remarque is unexposed as it’s interesting connections are having a crack at this. He could be useful in time so certainly respected. Artorius looks the danger though after being carried wide last time before running on well beaten just a head. He has a nice profile and should run his race. In The Congo also going the right way and will be fighting out a place for sure.

Race 3 Sandown 4.20 Linas Legend (11/8)

Progressive colt who showed a good attitude to win convincingly on return from a short break at Echuca last month; quickly improved to dominate throughout here last time; visually impressive and the clock backs that up.

I’m really confident LINAS LEGEND can take care of these. This colt is going from strength to strength and proved much the best again last time. He is chasing a hat-trick now and given he is likely to be fast away he might always be bossing these. On the clock he has produced two decent times in victory the last twice and I really don’t see any chinks in his armour. Taunting looked impressive at Morphettville and Gawler but was turned over at Moonee Valley last time. If he bounces back he should make a race of it but the fav just has greater potential going forward for me. Extreme Flight is going the right way and could prove best of the rest with Jungle Magnate likely to be fighting it out with him.
