Improving mare who progressed again to make the breakthrough at Mildura at the start of the month; more to come now she has her head in front and this looks a good opportunity for her to follow up; keep safe.
The money was down for BROWNIE last time and she duly came good. She is a fast mare who will be looking to dictate again here and gallop these into submission. She has only had the 3 starts so there should be room for further improvement and I’m expecting her to justify favouritism again. Bellarina Magic is respected on exposed form and she should strip fitter from them last two runs so she has a squeak. Zacouver is just 1 from 9 and needs to bounce back as was disappointing at Bendigo last time never landing a blow. Similar comments apply to Helene’s Era to be honest and the fav definitely has the least to prove. At a massive price Rokatta might run better than her odds are suggesting.

THE AUSSIE NB (SECOND BEST BET) WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT YEPPOON!
Race 6 Yeppoon 7.47 Stormwater (11/10)
Useful type who put it altogether to finally make the breakthrough over shorter here earlier this month; should build on that now and if he does from the inside draw he will have these all at it; big chance.
It took STORMWATER a while to get his head in front but he impressed here last time and going back up in trip he can follow up as this doesn’t look an overly strong contest. Soul Dancer also just has the 1 win to her name from 13 attempts and could be the danger having finished second 4 times already. Skagerak also has the ability to get involved but you’d have to question his will to win with just 1 win from 16 attempts. Matador can run well too but isn’t firing at the moment especially given recent form so is easy enough to rule out right now. Hard to see any of those at bigger odds landing a blow in a race where the market principals look to have it between them.
