THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 8 AT PHILADELPHIA TONIGHT!

Race 8 Philadelphia 9.04 Factor This In (6/4)

Smart type who has won 2 of his last 3 and showed a good attitude to get on top in the run to the line over track and trip last time; clearly in great form and if he runs to that level again it’s going to take a good one to peg him back.

This looks a good chance for FACTOR THIS IN to follow up and make it 3 wins from his last 4. He was taken on 3 starts back but that didn’t stop him coming again and ultimately winning well. He showed he had a big engine on that occasion and while he was beaten next start that was at Delaware and in a better race than this. Back over C&D last time he showed his true form and was too good for them. If he runs to that level again he will win this off the front. Wagon Boss is the obvious and potentially only danger to the favourite. He has been running well winning at Churchill Downs in May and running a big race going down just a length at Saratoga last time. He should give the selection a race.

Race 7 Finger Lakes 9.04 Tangerine Dream (13/8)

Promising filly who took a bit of time to come to hand but caught the eye finishing fifth not beaten far on return and then improved to win emphatically over the extended 5f here last time; more to come and hard to oppose.

We head to Finger Lakes on Wednesday night for our second best bet Stateside and TANGERINE DREAM can follow up. She is a filly on the upgrade now and that last win was very impressive. She was always racing enthusiastically and I loved the way she poured it on late to draw clear. This looks easier if anything and I think she’ll follow up before going on to better things. I can’t believe she isn’t favourite for this. Calibogue Sound made a bright start winning on debut but has bee held in 3 starts since and is going to need to raise her game to beat the selection. The pair do look to have it between them with Game Theory potentially best of the rest and she remains unexposed.
