THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT INDIANA GRAND TONIGHT!

Race 7 Indiana Grand 10.31 Mowins (4/5)

Promising colt who has won 2 of his last 3 now and impressed last time finding more to draw clear and assert late; progressive and if he steps forward again he should have too much for these; one to keep safe today and going forward.

The US NAP was back in the winners enclosure last night and at a decent price. We head to Indiana Grand tonight and the price might not be as big but that’s probably with good reason as MOWINS looks very promising. He won easily last time at this level and looks to be getting better all the time. There is a lot of pace on but mainly at the bigger prices so he should get a good target to aim at and they will fall back in his lap late which will be ideal as he hopefully sweeps through. Scotty’s On Edge made a taking start winning head in chest over much shorter here last month. If he handles the step up in trip and grade he will be the danger but it is a big ask. Oro Azteca looks held by the fav on that last run.

Race 4 Delaware Park 7.45 R Averie Lynn (13/8)

Improving filly who fairly routed them over track and trip last month, pulling readily clear in the final furlong to win by a street; can do better again and this no tougher so obvious chance of following up; looks the most likely winner.

Lots to like about the chances of R AVERIE LYNN at Delaware Park tonight. She hacked up over C&D last time and a repeat of that would see her home and hosed again. She has speed to burn and can sustain the gallop right through the line so ticks plenty of boxes. Captivating Gal hasn’t been disgraced at a much tougher level than this and she will find this easier so looks the danger to the favourite. Melodious Singer actually beat the selection back in July but hasn’t been in good enough form to confirm those placings recently and looks opposable on the balance of form. At a bigger price maybe Spirit Or Spite will run well and could be the value to grab a place in here.
