THE US NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 7 AT INDIANA GRAND TONIGHT!

Race 7 Indiana Grand 10.31 Beduin Fighter (4/5)

Promising colt who looked in need of the experience on his first three starts but took a big step forward when only beaten a couple of lengths into second at Kentucky Downs on return; should strip fitter now and hard to oppose.

There was a lot of pressure on BEDUIN FIGHTER despite getting to the lead at Kentucky Downs last time. He battled on bravely up the straight but was just picked up by a horse who got a better trip. He looked tired crossing the line so this drop back to 5f looks ideal and if he faces less pressure early I think he’ll have too many gears for these. Pharoah Cat was only beaten 2 lengths last time but this does look a bit tougher. He can improve too though so looks the danger. Polsar shaped encouragingly on penultimate start but failed to back that up when thrashed back on dirt last time. Needs to bounce back and has enough to prove. At a bigger price Jerry’s Secret might be value to hit the frame.

Race 5 Penn National 12.49 Aspect (6/4)

Useful sort who impressed given how much he had to do swooping late to score at Delaware Park on penultimate start; denied just a neck in a much better race than this last month; progressive form and should win this.

The way ASPECT swooped home to win at Delaware Park on penultimate start was very impressive for the grade so it was no surprise to see him pitched into the deep end last time. He got back as he does but showed a good attitude finishing strongly and looked a bit unlucky to miss by a neck. The winner got first run and only just held on. If he brings that level of form here he will swoop by all of these late on. Literally is the speed in the race and he can be dangerous if given an easy time of it but hopefully he sets it up for the selection. Jovis also likes to go forward so they may end up taking each other on which would be an ideal scenario. Triple A. Plus also has some good form but does need more.
