THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT INDIANA GRAND TONIGHT!

Race 5 Indiana Grand 9.29 Contact Tracing (1/1)

Promising type who has won 3 of his last 5 and took over going best last time before readily coming away from them late; more to come and if he gets a good target to aim at he will be finishing best of all; one to keep on side.

The US NAP took a big drift last night before finishing second but thankfully we got the verdict in the stewards room so it paid out a winner. We head to Indiana Grand tonight as we look to follow up and CONTACT TRACING can win again. This 3yo is progressive and he won impressively over the extended mile here last time. He did that in the style of a classy horse and I think he can win again tonight before being targeted at bigger prizes in time. Truculent did actually finish in front of the favourite when winning 3 starts back but the selection reverse that form last month and Truculent just looked to hang in the closing stages which is offputting. He is probably still the one to give him most to do.

Race 10 Philadelphia 9.58 Why Why Paul Why (6/5)

Smart colt who got to the front dictated and drew clear late to win impressively over a mile here last month; won 3 of his last 4 now and chasing a hat-trick tonight; plenty going for him again and looks the most likely winner.

I can see WHY WHY PAUL WHY going off a short price at Philadelphia on Tuesday night. This colt is going from strength to strength judging by his last two wins and with further improvement to come he can bring up the hat-trick. Optic Way and Three Two Zone like to push forward as well but strictly on the clock the favourite should always have them held. Runningforhome will probably just look to track the speed through and he might emerge as the main danger late but hopefully the selection will be home and hosed. Ridin With Biden was behind the latter last month but is still unexposed so does have potential to reverse that form but will need to improve again. Brilliant Chase has plenty to find.
