THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON LAST NIGHT AND RUNS AT INDIANA TONIGHT!

Race 6 Indiana Grand 9.00 Chandana (5/4)

Improving filly who got to the front and then cleared right away late to win impressively over the extended 5f here last month; this easier if anything so hard to oppose off the back of that with potential to do better again.

The US NAP was back in the winners enclosure last night so hopefully we can follow up on Tuesday and going on a streak of NAP winners this week! We head to Indiana again this evening and the progressive CHANDANA can win again. She bolted up by 8 lengths over slightly shorter here last time and a reproduction of that would see her come out on top again. She had been knocking on the door prior to that demolishing job so it wasn’t coming out the blue as I think she is improving all the time. Chakra is the danger after impressing with a 2-length win last time but this is more competitive so she needs more especially against the favourite. Je Suis Belle probably just best of the rest.

Race 9 Philadelphia 8.01 Stonegate (11/8)

Likeable type who powered clear to win head in chest 3 starts back in a better race than this; tough ask on turf next time but back to form winning by a neck over track and trip last month; looks the most likely winner again.

I know he is coming up against some younger, improving rivals but even so STONEGATE is a confident selection to come out on top tonight. He has won 2 of his last 3 and is proven at this level and over this trip. He likes to get to the front and dictate and I only really see early pace pressure from Pylon and strictly on the clock he should have no issue holding that horse. He might just track through if he goes frantic early and then take it up moving best. Stay Hydrated is probably the danger as he ran well last time battling on gamely but prior to that he was swept aside by the selection so on the balance does have enough to find. Just A Thought is unexposed and might do better sooner rather than later.
