THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS NOW ON A FOUR-TIMER!

Race 8 Delta Downs 9.12 Hypernova (6/4)

Improving filly who showed a good attitude to prevail at Indiana Grand last time; back down in trip here which will suit and with further progress to come she should take a lot of stopping here; should get a nice toe into it.

Backed into short odds at Indiana HYPERNOVA made no mistake, toughing it out gamely in the closing stages. She deservedly goes up in class off the back of that and she is a strong selection to follow up back down in trip tonight. Her form is the best on offer and I think the 6/4 on offer at the time of writing is generous. She’s Gone D’Wild is fairly prominent in the betting but that is quite surprising as she was thrashed on return and is going to need to take a big step forward from that to land any sort of a blow on this favourite. Grand Prize might be a greater danger as she ran in a much stronger race last time and has been running well prior to that. Dance Away might be value to place.

Race 4 Remington Park 1.31 Elusive War (13/8)

Promising colt who was an eye-catcher on debut beaten less than a length over the extended 5f; quickly stepped forward from that to get his head in front impressively over 6 and a half furlongs here last month; hard to oppose.

I think ELUSIVE WAR looks a colt firmly on the upgrade and he should justify favouritism tonight before being targeted at some bigger prizes. He did it easily the last day and with scope to keep improving I can’t see him beaten tonight so 13/8 is definitely a price worth snapping up! He will push forward and look to dominate again and I don’t see anything good enough in here to get him out his comfort zone. Shipman’s Song is exposed in comparison but shouldn’t be too far away. Salt Creek Kid made a winning start over track and trip and looks the main danger if improving from that. He made up a lot of ground late though and I’m not sure those tactics will work as well tonight.
