US NAP WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT SO WE’RE NOW ON FOR A FIVE-TIMER! The Breeders’ Cup kicks off from Del Mar. What a night ahead, this is not to be missed! Daily Double pays 4/1!

THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN LAST NIGHT AND IS NOW CHASING A FIVE-TIMER!

Race 7 Del Mar 10.30 Echo Zulu (11/10)

Exciting filly who is a perfect 3-3 winning the Grade 1 Spinaway at Saratoga before following up even more impressively in the Frizette at Belmont last month; will keep improving and likely to put these to the sword.

Unbeaten filly ECHO ZULU has to be my best best at the Breeders’ Cup on Friday. She was mightily impressive in the Frizette at Belmont last time powering clear to win by over 7 lengths. She looks a potential superstar in the making off the back of that and she can make it four straight tonight. There are some good fillies in here but I think she is a horse we will be hearing a lot more about in the future and however I break this down I can’t see her beaten. She made it look so effortless the last day and scarily is open to further improvement. Juju’s Map herself has looked exciting winning both starts since her debut. If she builds on that again she should give the selection something to think about.

Race 9 Del Mar 11.50 Corniche (9/4)

Unbeaten filly who made it a perfect 2-2 winning the Grade 1 American Pharoah at Santa Anita last month, kicking clear late; showed serious gears on that occasion; sure to keep progressing and obvious chance of the hat-trick.

It’s such a shame we’ve lost Jack Christopher here but he has been scratched after suffering a setback. This now looks a great chance for the unbeaten CORNICHE to bring up the hat-trick. I thought he was a big danger anyway but the wide draw just put me off. With Jack Christopher out this just got a bit easier and I think he’ll take a lot of beating. He showed good early speed to get on the lead last time and kicked clear towards the line. He is obviously open to improvement after just 2 starts and he looks to have a really promising future. Pinehurst is also 2-2 and I think he is the most obvious danger to the favourite. He can step forward again up in trip and I think he will finish second.
