Progressive mare who has won her last 2 in good style and was always getting on top over track and trip last time; form stacks up and no surprise if he pushes forward from a wide gate and takes the initiative; hard to beat either way.

I’m keen to stick with the hat-trick seeking ROMARY here for John Luttrell and Codi Jordan. This grey mare has really impressed lately and I think what will make her tough to beat here is given how versatile she is in how the race will be run. She could go forward from a wide gate but has no issue dropping in either so depending on how the track is riding she will do whatever works best. There is no doubting her improvement and while this is tougher again she is by far and away the most likely winner for me. So Astounding has to be respected on exposed form but he only has 2 wins to his name so surely needs more to trouble the fav? He does have 14 placed efforts from 28 starts though so is consistent.

Improving mare who was back to something like her best winning by 2 lengths over C&D last time, always in the box seat; capable of better again and looks well placed to follow up; Pike in the saddle again and lots to like.

I can’t see ANTIQUE JEWEL beaten at Belmont on Wednesday. This mare is on the upgrade now especially at this track and she did it well last time. She has Pike in the saddle again and should get these at it getting in lighter at the weights. Vintage Stock has been around a while already and has 5 wins from 47 starts. She has to be respected but the selection should improve past her. Dancing Jack has just the 1 win to his name so is hard to warm to from a win point of view. Likely to be in the places though. Brother Paddy is a 7yo now and has only won 2 from 13 at this track and 4 from 43 overall so I can’t see him springing a surprise. The rest look pretty limited with Dance Of The South the best of them.
