THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 4 AT KYNETON ON MONDAY MORNING!
Race 4 Kyneton 4.00 Kikuyu (5/4)
Good looking chestnut who looked a horse who would benefit from the experience when a good second on debut; given a fair bit to do last time and looked a good race; should improve again and likely to take the beating.
I can see KYNETON relishing the extra yardage at Kyneton on Monday and he looks a great bet to make the breakthrough at the third time of asking. This is a weak maiden and he definitely brings the most potential to the table especially with this step up in trip likely to unlock further progression. Can’t Go Wong was set to make his debut but has been scratched so the danger would have to be Kyla. She is yet to strike in 5 starts but has run some good races and if she improves she should give the fav something to think about. Tobytoff is 0/8 but he has at least placed 4 times from them starts including a couple of runner-up efforts so if bringing his best to the table could also land a blow.

Race 2 Taree 3.05 Taking The Mikki (11/8)
Caught the eye with how well backed he was on debut and ran on well beaten less than 2 lengths into second at Port Macquarie; should be a lot sharper now and expected to have too much for this bunch.
The improving TAKING THE MIKKI can take this out. He should enjoy going up in trip and he looks the most obvious winner as long as I’mtimmyzou isn’t anything special. The latter is making his debut and ran third in a Grafton trial so might not be that far away. Metal Bar might be a greater threat as he has mixed it with some useful enough types and this is easier. Should be a good race with the fav but I do think he has the potential right now and can improve past him. Into The Blue is 0/8 and while he ran well at Coffs Harbour on penultimate start he disappointed at Taree and will need to better that to land a blow in here even if it does lack strength in depth.
