THE US NAP (BEST BET) WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS NOW ON A HAT-TRICK!

Race 7 Oaklawn Park 9.19 Thomas Shelby (5/4)

Progressive sort who brought up a hat-trick of wins impressively at Churchill Downs last month; bumped into a good horse in a much better race than this last time; can get himself back in the winners enclosure here.

With 7 wins from his last 10 starts THOMAS SHELBY is a confident bet to get back to winning ways at Oaklawn Park tonight. He is a horse at the top of his game right now finding all bar Lone Rock too strong last time. There is nothing of that calibre in here and he should have too much for these. He will go off the front like he usually does and I don’t see him being pegged back this time. Luck Of The Draw is probably the danger on recent form. He has won 2 of his last 3 and impressed last time making up a ton of ground from off the pace. He might be finishing well again tonight but the fav should be away and gone by the time he gets going. First Line should be best of the rest.

Improving filly who has won her last 3 and 8 of her last 11; capable of better yet and this easier so if she reproduces that last run that should see her coming home in front; looks the most likely winner in this field.

Given her record it’s hard to look past ALBERTA SUN here as she proved too strong again last time and this is easier if anything. She finds plenty off the bridle and drew clear comfortably again last time. If she reproduces that sort of form again she should have too much for these rivals. She has early gears so will look to dictate and if she gets into a nice rhythm again she won’t come back to them. Sapphire Royalty was beaten 3 lengths by the fav back in September so might not be far away but has her work cutout to try and close that gap and I can’t see her reversing the form if all goes to plan for the fav. Rock Star Parking won easily last time but this is tougher so she’ll need to build on that to figure.
