THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) LANDED OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT OAKBANK!

Race 5 Oakbank 6.40 Robe Raider (5/4)

Improving filly who took another step forward going down narrowly into second at Murray Bridge last time; only going to progress from that and should confirm form with Military Press; looks the most likely winner.

The Aussie NAP landed overnight so we head into Wednesday with confidence high. ROBE RAIDER looks a cracking bet at Oakbank. She only went down narrowly at Murray Bridge and with natural improvement she should take all the beating here. She had Military Press behind last time and can confirm that here as she looks open to greater improvement. Muffla is the danger after finishing a good second at Balaklava. He is just 1 from 14 though so might give the fav a fright but not convinced he’ll go through with it. Military Press remains a maiden (0/10) but is consistent so shouldn’t be too far away either. Hard to see any of the others landing a blow as this definitely lacks strength in depth.

Likeable sort who has won 2 of his last 3 and is unbeaten over track and trip; given a lot of ground to make up last time but finished strongly and did it impressively in the end; more to come for sure so should win.

This looks a great chance for TIGERTIGER to make it 3 wins from his last 4. He has taken his form up a notch recently and this looks another winnable assignment. He impressed over C&D last time and with 2 wins from 3 over this trip everything looks in place for another big run. Coup De Tonnerre won at Bendigo last month and he is the danger but I’ll be surprised if he can improve again to beat the fav who looks firmly on an upward trajectory. Annunciate has to be respected on exposed form but he is coming up against an improver here in the shape of the fav. Miss Five Hundred comfortably best of the rest but she is out of form so comes here with enough to prove at present.
