Naas 12.30

I know JEREMYS FLAME is on a fairly lengthy losing run but there is no doubting her form having chased home the likes of Riviere D’etel, Mr Incredible and more recently Concertista. If she produces that sort of run here it should be good enough to take this out and I’m surprised she has eased to as big as 9/4 in the betting now. She was staying on well the last day so this extra yardage will suit and I think she is sure to go close.

Roseys Hollow is the one that has been backed for Jonathan Sweeney. She shaped well without landing a blow behind Capodanno on reappearance and if stepping forward from that looks the most obvious danger. Dolcita is also capable of a big run so shouldn’t be entirely ruled out either.

Naas 12.30

Jeremys Flame 9/4

Naas 1.00

Willie Mullins has done so well in this race over the years and BLUE LORD looks a great chance of adding to his winning record here. Blue Lord was very good over hurdles and he could be even better over fences. He won on chase debut easily and should be much fitter for that run. I expect him to take this before going on to bigger races this season.

Lifetime Ambition is a lively danger with some rock solid form in the book however he may need a bit further than this 2 miles trip. Dancing On My Own is interesting after confirming he is still talented after a long layoff at Killarney last time out but still has it to prove in this company.

Naas 1.00

Blue Lord 4/7

Naas 1.35

Another selection I didn’t expect to drift but ALICE AVRIL is available to back at 9/1 now. She won impressively at Roscommon back in the summer. She has been held twice since but given time and now sporting a first-time hood I think she can resume her progression here. This is competitive but I think connections are anticipating a big run. She is lightly raced over fences so there should be more to come yet.

Fighting Fit ran well when second last time and has to be respected on that form. Gevrey was a bit below form last time but if bouncing back he could also have a big say in the outcome here. Jack Hackett refused when beaten last time but should come on for that and also on his best form could be in the mix.

Naas 2.10

This race is always a stepping stone for some of the top hurdlers to follow and this looks like it could be another good renewal. GINTO looks the best of these from what we have seen so far when he brushed Eric Bloodaxe aside in the Grade 2 Novice Hurdle at Navan. Eric Bloodaxe has franked the form winning a Grade 2 himself recently.

Stablemate Hollow Games is a danger as he arrives with an unbeaten record but his form is not quite the level of the selection. He could improve along with Grand Jury and Whatdeawant but Ginto likely has plenty to come as well so gets a confident vote.

Naas 2.45

Willie Mullins won this back in 2020 with Asterion Forlonge and he looks to have another potentially smart horse on his hands in the shape of BRONN in the Simon Munir and Isaac Souede silks. This horse won easily on debut under Rules at Ballinrobe before switching to this yard. He is open to plenty of improvement on hurdles debut and can remain unbeaten here. He did ease slightly in the market this morning before coming back in and should go off a well backed fav.

The danger looks to be Killer Mode who clocked a career best over C&D last time and can improve again. Flame Bearer needed the run on debut over timber at Cork and should build on that so will be in the mix for second as well. Noble Birth needs to brush up his jumping to land a blow.

Naas 3.20

This looks a pretty trappy race with not many of these looking obviously well handicapped. PADDYS PLANET has an obvious chance compared to most of these after winning at Limerick in maiden company. His opening mark doesn’t look really generous but in a weak race he wouldn’t need to improve much to land this.

Of the rest I Don’t Get It is a potential danger but will need to run to his best here but looks primed to after a good run at Down Royal a week ago. Never Off Duty has won over track and trip and is another one that could show up well for a long way.

Naas 3.50

Not a lot to go on here with only one horse in the field with any form to her name. Design Flaw didn’t show a great deal on that occasion so is going to need to improve plenty to prevent one of these debutants winning this. I like DOUGLAS DC at the top of the market for Gordon Elliott. This son of Zoffany should appreciate the underfoot conditions and is likely to know his job first-up for a big yard. I’m never too confident in these types of races though so keep stakes to a minimum.

The danger could be Fuoco as the market is suggesting. She is a half-sister to multiple winners and has a 7lb claimer booked. Famous Agent is also well related and might run better than his odds are suggesting at the time of writing.

Naas 3.50

Douglas Dc 7/4
