THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 3 AT MOE ON TUESDAY MORNING!

Race 3 Moe 3.30 Jamesatelli (1/1)

Promising sort who was well backed on debut but inexperience cost him racing too freely and looking a bit clueless under pressure finishing third; sure to be more streetwise now and looks well placed to take this out.

There’s only 3 meetings overnight and not a great deal is standing out but JAMESATELLI really should be winning at Moe in the early hours of Tuesday. He showed enough to work on when third on debut and with natural improvement should be tough to beat here. He was keen throughout and should come on plenty for that experience. This is by no means a deep contest so he can make the breakthrough. Nottaris has had 5 attempts with no luck but has’t been all that far away so may well be the danger. Phase Of War is a mare with potential but she needs more on that debut fourth to upset this favourite. Hard to see any of the others landing a blow. Miss Epernay is already looking exposed so needs tons more.

Race 1 Wagga 3.10 Mescaminto (2/1)

Likeable mare who has already struck twice including over this trip and ran well on sole start at this track when second here back in the summer; can improve again and looks hard to oppose as well placed to score.

I thought MESCAMINTO would be clear fav here so she looks a decent bet to take this out. She is proven over the trip and ran well here when second back in August last year. She has more to come yet and should prove too good for these. This Skilled Cat is fav at the time of writing but he is a lot more exposed with 6 wins from 36 starts. He has won over track and trip though so does look a danger. If the fav improves she will hopefully have him covered. Demanding Mo has 3 wins from 15 starts and was building a nice profile prior to finishing last at Randwick. If he bounces back he could have a say but he has enough to prove on the balance of his form. American Salute comfortably best of the rest.
