Race 6 Pakenham 9.15 Let’s Sea (5/4)

Improving youngster who took his form up a notch to score impressively at Ararat last month, swooping from off the pace; scope to kick on again and fitter too so very much the one to beat in this field; keep safe.

The Aussie NAP was back in the winners enclosure overnight and hopefully we can add another one on Thursday before looking to head strong into the weekend. LET’S SEA catches the eye at Pakenham and looks capable of following up. He really impressed at Ararat and with improvement a near certainty he should have too much for these. Fateela is the obvious threat but she should go forward and that might help set things up for the favourite. Ima Shelby also looks promising but was turned over at Sandown and is going to need to better that to beat the selection. Master Bartholdi won at Echuca but this looks tougher and his previous form doesn’t amount to all that much in truth.

Race 7 Gosfod 5.55 Pole Position (13/8)

Professional attitude to make a winning start at Muswellbrook and with natural improvement looks to have found a good opportunity to make it a perfect 2-2; likely to go forward and should take plenty of catching.

The unbeaten POLE POSITION can make it 2-2 overnight at Gosford on Thursday. He looks a talented sort who had no problem making a winning start and I think connections have found the right race for him to stay unbeaten. Hutchings keeps the ride and from a low draw he will kick on and look to dictate. Sea Treasures scored at Mudgee and returned with an encouraging enough effort to finish fourth at Hawkesbury. If he can build on that he might emerge as the main danger to the favourite. Tinka’s Lad already has 3 wins in the book which is quite impressive and he shouldn’t be entirely dismissed despite not running all that well in recent starts. The rest all have enough to find on the balance.
