Race 8 Laurel Park 8.57 Pit Stop Man (best price 6/5)
Improving sort who ran his best race to date when denied narrowly over this trip at Aqueduct last month; can build on that again and under likely aggressive tactics he should take plenty of reeling in; most likely winner.
Hard to look past PIT STOP MAN at Laurel Park on Friday night. He went close last time and this is easier if anything. He should go forward and is going to take a lot of pegging back. He has only had 3 starts so is likely to improve again and I can see him going off a short priced favourite. Money Code is the closest in the betting but he was held by the selection last time and has work to do to try and reverse that form. Blameitonthefun is at least unexposed and could be best of the rest but definitely needs to improve on what we’ve seen so far. Similar comments apply to Auksine Kulka who could never land a blow last time and needs to show more on just his second start on dirt.

Promising filly who looked good winning impressively over track and trip last month with main rival here Lady’s Sermon trailing in second and Alesha back in third; open to further improvement and can confirm that form tonight.
This looks a good chance for SEN SEN to notch up her third career victory. She impressed last time and under similar tactics she should take all the beating. She really bossed them last time and always looked in her comfort zone. Lady’s Sermon looks the obvious threat again but I think the fav might beat her by further this time around if anything. Alesha is a decent prospect in the making too but she is held by both on recent form and definitely needs to progress further. Aliso Beach got off the mark on just her second start last time but this is considerably harder so while she might have quite a promising future she definitely needs more here to spring any sort of an upset.
