NAP – Best selection of the evening

Exeter 2.30 Triple Trade (11/8)

Improved with every run and deservedly got his head in front over hurdles beating a good horse into second at Lingfield last month; form already started to work out; more to come for sure and should follow up despite 6lb rise.

Colin Tizzard looks to be back in good form and that bodes well for TRIPLE TRADE at Exeter on Sunday. This son of Norse Dancer is getting better all the time and he ran out an impressive winner last time. The horse that finished second Shearer also looks promising and the form has already thrown up a next time out winner in Global Agreement who actually fell in the contest when looking held. Doctor Ken is the obvious threat for Olly Murphy. He was engaged to run at Warwick yesterday but goes for this race instead. He has more to come as well but was well held at Cheltenham and has a bit to prove following that. Obviously still early days though so should bounce back soon.

Exeter 2.30 Triple Trade (11/8)

Punchestown 3.10 Largy Debut (2/1)

Promising sort who made a bright start over hurdles lowing the colours of Kilcruit impressively at Cork back in December; pulled up at Leopardstown but had excuses; definitely worth another chance with the hood on.

I’m definitely keen to give LARGY DEBUT another chance following that impressive win over Kilcruit at Cork. He clearly has a big engine and given he bled when pulling up at Leopardstown he looks worth chancing to bounce back here. He brings a lot of potential to the table and gets a confident vote to justify favouritism. Deploy The Getaway has been a work in progress but did impress winning a maiden hurdle at Down Royal last time. He can do better but does look more of a staying chaser so might just get taken off his feet a bit here especially if the favourite is back to his best. Au Fleuron ran well when second to Banbridge at Navan and may well emerge as the main danger to the selection.
