THE AUSSIE NAP (BEST BET) WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT BENDIGO ON SATURDAY!

Race 4 Bendigo 4.21 Lady Cumberland (11/10)

Improving mare who made the breakthrough impressively at Ararat last time, making all the running and powering clear; open to further progress and looks well placed to follow up before being targeted at bigger things.

The Aussie NAP landed overnight and I’ll be surprised if LADY CUMBERLAND can’t go and follow up at Bendigo on Saturday morning. She is a good looking chestnut who impressed making all last time. She has threatened to do that for a while and now she has her head in front I expect her to follow up. The danger is likely Rockcliff but he has just the 1 win from 12 starts and is 0/5 over this trip so definitely needs more. Swing With Junior has won over the trip but only has 2 wins from 15 starts so she is going to need more as well to overhaul this favourite. Snitway is more exposed but has won over track and trip so has to be respected. Hard to see anything else at double-figure odds landing a blow.

Race 6 Sunshine Coast 5.13 Dreamreacher (13/8)

Progressive sort who already has 2 wins over this trip and impressed at Doomben last time, doing it at the line with a bit to spare; second looks a good yardstick so form solid; more to come and should follow up.

I’m confident DREAMREACHER is the one to beat at Sunshine Coast on Saturday morning. That last run where he beat Deep Sceiva (our Value Tip today and runs in the race before this) is good form. Hopefully the second wins the race before to frank the form further. Either way he has more to come and can make it 3 wins from 6 starts over this distance. The danger looks to be last time out winner Ef Troop who struck at Doomben last time. He is 0/3 over this trip though which is enough to oppose for me. Enterprise Keren is building up a nice profile too with 3 from 7 over the trip and 5 from 20 overall. She should figure at some stage. Coup also deserves another look but like so many in here will need more.
