REALLY TOUGH DAY YESTERDAY SO LET’S BOUNCE BACK! Racing on Tuesday from Sedgefield, Epsom Downs, Yarmouth, Worcester and Wolverhampton. Daily Double pays 12/1!

Sedgefield 2.45 Nietzsche (2/1)
Won this time last year and run well the last twice off a reduced mark; dropped another 1lb here and looks to have found the right race to get back to winning ways; likely to be ridden quietly before pouncing late.
Saying it was a tough day yesterday would be an understatement. Hopefully we can get the ship back sailing in the right direction on Tuesday and we head to Sedgefield for our best bet. NIETZSCHE isn’t a prolific winner by any means but he is down to a mark too tempting to pass up. He won at this time last year off a mark of 132 and he is off just 119 here. He has run well the last twice and looks to be coming back to the boil now. Frimeur De Lancray looks most likely to put up some resistance. He is yet to win over fences but was beaten just a nose at Wetherby last time and a first-time tongue strap might help him. It’s a weak race so Road Warrior is also respected despite pulling up when last seen.

Epsom Downs 2.55 Soto Sizzler (10/3)
Loves it here with form figures of 1122 and got his head back in front at Newmarket to cap off last season in style; blew the cobwebs away at Kempton last month and should be spot on for this now; cheekpieces applied.
This C&D really suits SOTO SIZZLER and with a run under his belt he is a major player here. His form figures at this track are really encouraging and it’s no surprise to see him heading the market with Ryan Moore booked for the ride. David Menuisier had a good winner at Kempton yesterday in the shape of Belloccio so the yard look to be hitting form already. With the likes of Arenas Del Tiempo, Bad Company and Fairmac all potentially taking each other on he should get a lovely pace to aim at and I can see this falling in his lap in the closing stages. Achelois looks the danger to me for Andrew Balding. She usually needs a run to get fit but if she is ready to fire she should have more to offer yet.
