MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT PAKENHAM ON THURSDAY!

Race 5 Pakenham 10.15 Victory Tears (5/6)

Good looking sort who knew his job on debut to make a winning start at Ballarat last summer; given time to mature since and looks well placed to make a winning return here; should be fit from trials; hard to oppose.

The Aussie NAP landed overnight so we head into Thursday with confidence high! The promising VICTORY TEARS reappears and should have the class to make it a perfect 2-2 here. He was impressive enough on debut and is likely to have improved plenty since. He will likely go forward and should be tough to pass with fitness on side from recent trials. Letzxcel won well at Cranbourne but disappointed on final start. He still brings potential to the table so looks the danger if bouncing back on return. Lumber Punk has a couple of wins from 8 starts but has gone off the boil and will likely need more against these unexposed types at the head of the market. Hard to fancy much else in here.

Race 1 Gosford 3.00 Show Me Your Love (10/11)

Promising filly who is bred to be pretty smart and made a bright start going down a length on debut before stepping forward to win impressively at Mudgee in testing ground; can progress again and should win.

A lot like my NAP I’m really looking forward to seeing SHOW ME YOUR LOVE out again for Kris Lees and Dylan Gibbons. This filly has looked pretty exciting and you just know she is going to improve again. I think she’ll make it 2 wins from 3 starts before tackling tougher company. Myeyesadoreyou is a nice yardstick and she should keep the selection honest but she lacks that star potential for me albeit I still think she’ll run well. Ella Te Ama was a good second to a nice type last time and also has to enter calculations but again will need much more to overhaul the selection if she is as good as I am hoping. Nothing else worth mentioning in here as it looks a good race which the market has spot on.
