MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT IPSWICH ON SUNDAY MORNING!

Race 6 Ipswich 5.45 Majestic Colour (1/1)

Promising type who improved to make a winning return at Eagle Farm at the start of the month; can progress again and looks a standout in his field to make it 2 wins from 4 starts; worth keeping safe for now.

There should be more to come from MAJESTIC COLOUR so now he has his head in front I think he’ll prove tough to beat here. He did it well last time and that was his first start after 4 months off the track so he will improve naturally fitness-wise alone. Knows his job now and will go hard and won’t be stopping at the line. That’lldotoo is the most likely danger having finished an encouraging third on reappearance. Still needs more to trouble the favourite though. Tee Amici is a fair yardstick already but he is 0/3 over the trip and has just the 1 win from 9 starts so needs to improve to land a blow. Roacci fairly prominent in the betting much hard to fancy on that latest Warwick run.

Race 9 Cairns 7.40 Stifling (1/1)

Progressive mare who had no issue bringing up the four-timer over C&D last time; clearly thriving right now and foolish to rule out further improvement so big chance of making it five straight; expected to be hard to beat.

With 3 wins from 4 over the trip STIFLING should be hard to beat at Cairns on Sunday morning. She is a mare firmly on the upgrade and did it well over track and trip last time. She can still improve further after just the 9 career starts and I think she can justify favouritism again. Nice Retort is a lot more exposed but is just 1 win from 8 over the trip which has to be slightly concerning. The untapped potential the fav brings to the table is eye-catching to say the least. Rigel was beaten less than a length into second here last time but needs to better that form to lay a glove at the finish. Gdansk didn’t run badly when third at Townsville but I thought he might win that so another one who needs more.
