MY AUSTRALIAN NAP WON AGAIN OVERNIGHT AND IS ON A HAT-TRICK NOW!
Race 8 Doomben 6.35 Orbisyn (11/10)
Good looking sort who remains unbeaten after making it a perfect 4-4 up in trip at this track when last seen; returns from nearly a year off the track but open to improvement again and should prove hard to beat.
Obviously most of his rivals have race fitness on side but they lack the potential ORBISYN brings to the table and I still think he can remain unbeaten here. He is looking to make it a perfect 5-5 and I’m not prepared to try and get him beat here. I think he can win this before going on to bigger and better things in time. The Big Goodbye is second in the betting and he ran well when second to Boomnova denied just a head last time. That is solid form so he should chase the favourite home. At a bigger price Aidensfield is rarely too far away and will likely run her race again so might be good value for a place. The Pines shaped well when third at Sunshine Coast and is another one to note.

Race 3 Port Macquarie 3.50 The Leopard’s Tale (11/8)
Likeable type who ran a cracker when beaten narrowly into second at Taree and caught the eye to some extent when fourth on return at Newcastle yesterday; could be hard to beat if turned out quickly following that.
This looks to revolve around the top 2 in the betting and if THE LEOPARD’S TALE takes his chance following that run yesterday I think he might be capable of opening his account. He will strip fitter and this looks much easier. Obviously if connections decide to take him out which can happen then I’d make Madiba Rose a strong play against these (and would be the replacement NB). She has only had 4 starts and is still improving. She ran well when fourth at Tamworth and if building on that would be a big player. I just think she lacks the experience of the fav at this stage though so might struggle to get past him late. If he does come out then she should prove the answer against a weak field.
