Even burdened with a double penalty I make THE COVEX KID the one to beat at Catterick on Friday. He has really impressed the last twice and again ran on well to win cosily at Beverley last month. With a stronger pace on here he should be seen to better effect and I think he’ll justify favouritism and win again for Amy Murphy. Fircombe Hall was back to near his best beaten less than a length at Ripon last time and if building on that could be the main danger to the selection. Mr Trevor was fourth here over 6f last time and needs to step forward again down in grade to land a blow. How Bizarre isn’t one for maximum faith but when he does apply himself he is capable of a good run so another one to note.
