MY US NAP WON OVERNIGHT AND RUNS AT FINGER LAKES ON MONDAY NIGHT!

Race 7 Finger Lakes 8.52 Gone And Forgotten (5/2)

Progressive filly who has won 5 from 7 starts to date and impressed again showing a great attitude to prevail on final start last year; open to further improvement on return and should prove a cut above these.

The US NAP was hammered overnight and got the job done! We head to Finger Lakes on Monday night chasing a double and GONE AND FORGOTTEN can make a winning return. He has a superb strike rate with 5 wins from just 7 starts and with more to come as a 4yo she should have too many gears for this field. Barbara’s Bank has won her last 2 and has to be feared most but she is more exposed than most and will likely need more to cope with the selection. Throwing Stones has won 3 of her last 4 and is another one not to rule out but again I feel she needs more to contain the selection. Saratoga Beauty likely best of the rest but coming up against some unexposed types won’t be easy.

Race 7 Philadelphia 8.37 Expensive Cut (5/2)

Likeable type who won head in chest 3 starts back at Keeneland; ran a bit flat here on penultimate start and did too much early on turf last time; can bounce back and looks the most likely winner in this field.

This looks all about EXPENSIVE CUT and I think he’ll prove too good here. The way he won 3 starts back was impressive and he has had excuses since. This is easier and if bouncing back should get himself back in the winners enclosure tonight. Lake Nakuru has been running to a consistent level and wasn’t beaten far on turf last time so may be the one to emerge as the main danger to the selection. Drone Swarm was behind the favourite last time when beaten a long way but did win prior to that so while he has ground to make up he might run better than he did last time at least. Go For The Kill is still fairly unexposed but needs to show more to land a blow in here.
