NAP – Best selection of the evening

Oasis Dream filly who picked up in promising fashion to open her account in handicaps at just the second time of asking at Kempton on final start last season; up 6lb but capable of better and proven fresh.
The NAP was bitterly disappointing yesterday so it’s been a couple of rough days for our best bet but hopefully we can get firmly back on track on Tuesday. We head to the AW at Chelmsford where MOBADRA can make it 3 wins from her last 4 for Roger Varian. She impressed picking up in good style over this trip when last seen and given she is proven fresh she should be hard to beat here. She is up 6lb but still looks likely to be ahead of her mark and 15/8 looks a good bet – I can see her going off a fair bit shorter than that. Billy Mill is the likely danger having won at Kempton last month and then only gone down a length last time. He did hang a touch under pressure which is slightly worrying.

Beverley 4.10 Princess Naomi (3/1)
Good looking filly who improved a chunk to make a winning handicap debut at Chelmsford 9 days ago despite being slowly away; turned out quickly under a penalty but definitely more to come.
That visual impression PRINCESS NAOMI created when making a winning handicap debut at Chelmsford over this trip was backed up by the clock too so with further improvement to come she can defy a penalty here turned out quickly. Hopefully she can get away on terms as that will help and I’m pleasantly surprised to see 11/4 on offer at the time of writing. Fomo was expected to do a little better when third at Pontefract last time but that was still an encouraging run and if she finds further improvement up in trip she will likely be the danger to the selection. Clear To Land goes handicapping now and also has to be noted as she could improve on what we’ve seen so far albeit she will need to.
