NAP – My best tip of the day

MY NAP WON YESTERDAY AND RUNS AT SANDOWN ON THURSDAY NIGHT!

Improving with experience and showed a good attitude to get in front at Newmarket last month; only up 3lb and as long as this doesn’t turn tactical he should be hitting the line strong; looks one to keep on side.

Jamie Spencer let us down last week but let’s be serious, when he gets it right he is one of the most talented in the saddle so I’m not letting me put. I really like the chances of FULFILLED at Sandown. This horse has been getting better with each run and improved to open his account at Newmarket last time. He travelled like a dream tucked in off the pace and had to work to make his own gap before picking up strongly. The second Total Lockdown had all the momentum down the outside but still couldn’t peg him back. He did that with a bit to spare for me and a 3lb rise shouldn’t be enough to stop him. Island Bandit made all to win at Newbury and is feared but they aren’t a certain to work again.

Ayr 7.28 Cobra Kai (2/1)

Ran on strongly to win impressively at Ripon back in June; creditable fourth in a good race at Leicester and then only beaten 2 lengths at Thirsk; can improve again for his new yard and leading claims in a race like this.

No surprise to see the money coming for COBRA KAI on debut for Keith Dalgleish. This 3yo remains open to further progress and I think this is a good starting point for his new yard. This track should suit and he is still handicapped to win races especially as winnable as this. Yeeeaah ran well when second to Baileys Liberty at Carlisle on penultimate start but let backers down at Redcar and will need to bounce back to trouble the favourite. Hegemon comes into this in form having finished second at Thirsk last time and would also have to enter calculations if building on that. Mollies Hope was down the field at Catterick and hasn’t shown enough yet to be a serious player here.
