NAP – Best selection of the day
INTUITIVE LANDED THE NAP AT 7/4 YESTERDAY! WE’LL BE LOOKING TO FOLLOW UP THIS EVENING!
Kempton 5.30 Smokey Bear (6/4)
Progressive colt who has improved with every run; ran on strongly to win at Newbury last time, beating some solid horses in the process; sets the standard on that and should have more to come yet so looks a leading player here.
Intuitive won like a ‘good thing’ at Kempton last night and it was a great feeling to get the NAP back to winning ways. We aren’t about to rest on that though and are looking to follow up today. SMOKEY BEAR has improved with experience and he put in his best run to date when opening his account at Newbury last time. If building on that again, which is highly likely, he should win this and win it well. Obviously he has a penalty to contend with but Thomas Greatrex claims a handy 5lb so that negates a large part of it. Everything points towards another big run.
NB – Second best selection of the day
THE NEXT BEST HAS WON THREE TIMES IN THE LAST FIVE DAYS SO IS IN GREAT FORM RIGHT NOW!
Southwell 7.45 Queen Of Kalahari (6/4)
Lethal Force filly who has won her last two over C&D; well on top at the finish beating a subsequent winner last time; that form looks strong in the context of this race; up 5lb but every chance of landing the hat-trick here.
She hasn’t exactly been popular in the market but QUEEN OF KALAHARI looks to have a great chance of landing a C&D hat-trick here for trainer Les Eyre. She won in good style last time and that form has been franked since with the second winning well on his next start. She should have this run to suit and I see no reason why she won’t go and land the hat-trick. 6/4 looks a very fair price in my book as I’d have her a bit shorter than that.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. Our two best bets run at Kempton and Southwell on Thursday evening.
