Notebook Selection
FORTAMOUR LANDED THE NOTEBOOK A 3/1 WINNER YESTERDAY! 4 WINNERS IN 4 DAYS!
Lingfield 1.10 Shamameya (9/4)
New Approach filly who showed promise amidst greenness in three runs as a 2yo; improved plenty when beaten just a neck on first run for 417 days at Wolverhampton earlier this month; looks the one to beat off the same mark.
Given it was her first run for well over a year SHAMAMEYA put in a huge run to go down all guns blazing by a neck at Wolverhampton earlier this month. With improvement on the cards racing off the same mark she is a confident selection to come out on top now. I’ll be very surprised if she isn’t better than a mark of 67. Granted the usual luck in running she should take an awful lot of holding. Dancing Rave looked a bit unlucky when fifth at Wolverhampton last time and is a danger in the first-time cheekpieces. At a bigger price Bedtime Bella is another to consider with the visor back on.
Notebook Selection
Catterick 3.00 Annsam (9/4)
Improving hurdler who stayed on well to beat a horse who has since won his next two starts; 5lb rise unlikely to stop him following up and he is more battle-hardened than his main market rival Minella Trump.
Experience could win the day here so ANNSAM earns the vote for Evan Williams. He showed a good attitude to prevail at Taunton last month and given the fact the second that day Le Ligerien has gone on to win his next two and 5lb rise for the selection could be lenient. I expect the selection to be well backed and may even end up going off favourite as although Minella Trump has the more sexy profile he lacks experience and might just be bumping into a rival with too many gears. It looks between the pair so I’ll be surprised if anything else gets involved.
Notebook Double
Here you will find our Notebook Double which is profitable to follow. Remember to back the double (and singles) to consistent stakes and you’ll always come out on top in the end. The worst thing you can do is not back them after a blank day.
