Race 4 Sunshine Coast 9.53 Azzareach (1/1)
Promising colt who made a striking impression winning on debut and returned with an eye-catching effort to finish second at Doomben last time having led for a long way; sure to improve and will be fitter now; hard to peg back.
We head to Sunshine Coast on Friday morning for our best bet Down Under and AZZAREACH is strongly fancied to go one better for Danny Bougoure and Ron Stewart. This colt still looked a little rough around the edges on return and will improve both physically and mentally from that. This looks a good bit of placement and it will be disappointing if he can’t go one better. Spirit House is a likeable mare and she has some decent form in the book after 5 starts. She can give the favourite a race and definitely looks the main danger in here. Captivated was caught wide on final run last campaign and is better than that. Looks best of the rest.

THE AUSSIE NEXT BEST (SECOND BEST BET) RUNS IN RACE 6 AT CANTERBURY!
Race 6 Canterbury 9.45 Super Effort (6/4)
Failed to fire on return where he was slowly away and held up; back to his best chasing home Private Eye at Randwick earlier this month on a rain softened track; more to come now and looks the one they all have to beat.
This looks a great opportunity for SUPER EFFORT to get back in the winners enclosure. He has a win, two seconds and a third from five starts so has a progressive profile coming into this. He will only improve and looks a good bet to justify favouritism. Dance ran on from midfield to make a winning return at Warwick and was slowly away last time so might be worth another chance. He is the one I’d probably come down on as the main threat to the favourite. Frozen In Time has 5 wins from 16 starts and is a good looking sort. She can still do better so has to be feared with 2 wins from 4 starts over this trip. Needs to prove herself at this track though. Definitely respected.

The Australian Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the night to maximise profit. They run at Canterbury and Sunshine Coast in the early hours of Friday morning.
