Denied by the smallest of margins when denied a nose over C&D a week ago and should be hard to beat if running up to that level again here; gets 7lb off main market rival and won’t get many better chances.
Year after year we’re asked for our selections away from Cheltenham and this year we’ve delivered! It’s not our NAP as our best bet of the day runs in the Mares’ Hurdle at Cheltenham but away from Prestbury Park HIGH SECURITY catches the eye. He has run some big races in defeat and looked a bit unlucky when denied just a nose over C&D last time. If he runs that sort of race again I don’t think he’ll be caught here and if you can get even money that looks a good bet. Main market rival Secret Eagle sprung a 50/1 surprise at Catterick in October and has to give the favourite 7lb which looks too much. Air Time looks held by the selection on that last run and is probably best of the rest.

Newcastle 7.15 Healing Power (6/4)
Useful type who wasn’t disgraced in a good race at Wolverhampton last month; built on that to go down just a neck at Chelmsford last time and with added fitness on side in an easier race he should take advantage.
With the promise of more to come HEALING POWER can get back to winning ways at Newcastle tonight. He was only beaten a neck by Spring Romance last time and if he builds on that it’s hard to see how he won’t go close. I’m expecting Jason Hart to be positive on him again and he might not get caught in this field. On the figures Seas Of Elzaam is the danger and while he was a good second last time he isn’t certain to back that up. He has become a bit inconsistent and I couldn’t back him. Portugueseprincess is on a twelve-run losing sequence and even with the cheekpieces back on she needs more to snap that bad run. The selection should get rewarded for his consistency.
