NAP – Best selection of the evening
THE NAP (BEST BET) RUNS AT YORK AGAIN ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON!
York 4.40 Winter Power (15/8)
Smart filly who ran better than the bare result in the King’s Stand last month, going off too hard; won 3 in a row prior to that and arguably her best win came over this C&D; expect her to get firmly back on track.
This looks a classy renewal and the standout has to be WINTER POWER who has been in top form and even her run in the King’s Stand at Royal Ascot wasn’t as bad as it looked as the pace that day was ridiculous and it collapsed to set it up perfectly for Oxted. Prior to that disappointment she won a Listed event over course and distance with ease and a repeat of that would see her win again. Dakota Gold who is a favourite of mine would be the main danger but usually needs the run so I have passed him over this time. I can see Moss Gill posing a greater threat as he won this last year and looks in great form after a good second at Haydock when last seen. Que Amoro is also unlikely to be too far away.

Ascot 2.25 Spanish Kiss (15/8)
Progressive individual who has really impressed lately bolting up at York, going away at the finish, before following up convincingly when the money was down over this trip at Newmarket last month; hard to oppose with more to come.
A further 8lb rise certainly demands more but SPANISH KISS is clearly a horse going places and he hit the line strong at Newmarket on first crack at this trip last time. He remains unexposed and I expect him to take care of these and bring up the hat-trick. The market should be a good guide too as he was backed off the boards last time and proved that confidence spot on. Future Investment is a good horse and he looks one of the main dangers. Just In Time was back on track in a first-time visor when second last time and also has to be considered. Buriram has been running well but does look handicapped to the hilt so will need to find something extra to trouble the selection here.
Daily Double
The Daily Double consists of both the NAP and NB and is a great way of covering our two best bets of the day to maximise profit. They run at Ascot and York again on Saturday afternoon as we look to get back on track!
