The likeable MINI MAGNA is getting better with every run and the hat-trick is a distinct possibility now handicapping. He has been well backed the last twice and showed a good attitude to get off the mark at Bath before following up at the same venue with a bit in hand last time. Now handicapping off a mark of 77 he should be hard to beat. He made all last time and will likely push forward again and look to leave them standing.

Mehmas filly Bellarchi finally opened her account last time and that is pretty decent form so she will be the danger now she knows how to win. Of the rest Chat Up Line was only beaten 4 lengths by Granny Budgie on penultimate start and didn’t shape badly in third last time so should also get competitive.

I know My Honey B is on a real roll at present but I was really impressed with that win from LUNANERA at Chepstow last time and given he has only had a handful of starts he is open to stacks of improvement yet. He is turned out fairly quickly under a penalty but looks one to keep firmly on side for now.

My Honey B is on a four-timer but she is now 7lb higher since her winning run started and is facing tougher company now. I’m not ruling out another big run though so she does still look the main danger to the selection. Abravaggio was denied a hat-trick last time but didn’t run badly in third and given he is lightly raced he might still have more to come so he is another one that should be in there pitching for much of the race.
