That third in a novice when last seen at the start of the year was a huge run and put away since he would have improved a fair bit again since. The step up to a mile can help too and in first-time blinkers there is lots to like about his chances.

Aurora Glory caught the eye running a big race when third at Redcar back in June but has disappointed since and needs to get back on track now. Hidden Code will find this easier back in a maiden but is exposed in comparison to the selection.

After disappointing at Bath on reappearance it was good to see UNCLE DICK back to his best striking over C&D last month. He was given a confident ride by Charlie Bishop switched off out the back but really found his stride in the closing stages and swept home to win. He has backed that up with a good third at Salisbury since and is the one to beat.

Buy The Dip has run really well the last twice and will be the danger if backing those performances up here. He looks the most obvious danger. Coloane has been in good form for most of the season and was handed quite a tough ask last time so also has a squeak.
