The way CHERRY BLOSSOM won over 6f at this track last month to get off the mark was mightily impressive. She improved again in defeat to finish second in the Lowther going down just a length to Relief Rally. I rate the latter highly and she stuck to the task gamely suggesting this extra furlong will be right up her street. She has plenty of scope so should keep progressing for a while yet and is a confident bet to take this.

Hard to pinpoint an exact danger but it could be My Mate Alfie who has more experience than most in here and hasn’t run a bad race yet. He went down all guns blazing when second to Nemonte at Roscommon and shouldn’t be too far away. Guildenstern finished second to Diego Velazquez on debut and if improving is definitely another one to note.

The progressive UNLIMITED can improve again and land the hat-trick here. He proved well ahead of his mark to win readily at Newbury last month and then kept finding more to get on top at Kempton last time which was a good effort in a slowly run race. I know the runner-up has let that form down a bit since but he is only 5lb higher back on turf and likely has a lot more to come yet. This should be run at a truer gallop and he has plenty going for him.

Sea The Stars filly Invisible Friend improved following a wind op to win at Doncaster last month and with the promise of more to come looks the biggest danger. Palamon didn’t actually run badly when fourth at Doncaster last time and should have more to come off the same mark so is also considered but perhaps just for place possibilities.
