Stayed on strongly to make a winning return at Haydock in September; held his form well in defeat since before justifying good support to land a gamble at Wincanton on Boxing Day; came readily clear after a sustained duel and should follow up here.
A 7lb penalty is unlikely to stop LIGHTLY SQUEEZE going close here. He is turned out quickly following that Boxing Day romp and if those excursions haven’t taken their toll I see no reason why he won’t follow up under talented 3lb claimer Bryan Carver. This really doesn’t have much strength in depth and the danger is Twenty Twenty. He ran a good race when second to Pagero at Huntingdon and should build on that under a 3lb rise. I expect the pair to battle it out with Harry Fry’s horse a confident selection to come out on top. I can see it panning out just like it did the last day.

Lingfield 2.10 Winning Streak (11/4)
Promising colt who put the experience of his first two runs to good use when winning going away at Windsor in August; next two starts not so good but very much back to form when finishing fast having been hampered at Wolverhampton latest; big shout now.
We head to Lingfield on Monday for the NB and WINNING STREAK makes plenty of appeal here for Stuart Williams. He ran his best race since winning on his AW debut at Wolverhampton last month. He was held up early but made good headway before getting stopped in his run. He was forced to switch right and came home really well but the race was over. Beaten under two lengths at the line he went into my notes as a horse to be interested in next time so it’s no surprise to see him favourite here. He races off the same mark and with plenty of pace in the race with the likes of Birkenhead and Baileys Blues it should be run to suit.
